First SHAMAN training event

The SHAMAN team is delighted to announce the first SHAMAN training event (SHAMAN – Sustaining Heritage Access through Multivalent ArchiviNg).

The event will be held jointly with the German competence network for digital preservation nestor (http://www.langzeitarchivierung.de/eng/) on 1 February 2011, Deutsche Nationalbibliothek, Frankfurt am Main, Germany.

This training event is targeting practitioners and researchers in digital preservation, with a particular focus on Policies, Ontologies and Context Modelling, Data Grids, Workflows and the newly released SHAMAN demonstrator.

La dématérialisation des archives, ses implications proprement archivistiques, l’évolution des competences de l’archiviste et de l’organisation des services d’archives qu’elle entraîne seront au coeur de la 11e session des Journées des archives de l’UCL.

Les 11e Journées des Archives de l’UCL envisageront la question de la dématérialisation des archives sous trois angles problématiques :
