The joint 51st IASA Conference and 44th FIAT/IFTA World Conference, titled, “Collaborate, Connect, Transform: A partnership of world experts in media and audiovisual archives” will be held from 26 to 29 October 2020, in Trinity College in Dublin, Ireland.

For the first time in more than 25 years the FIAT/IFTA Executive Council and the IASA Board have decided to join forces and organize a joint conference with an integrated programme. The 51st IASA Conference will also be the 44th Conference of the Fédération Internationale des Archives de Télévision / The International Federation of Television Archives (FIAT/IFTA).
The joint 51st IASA Conference and 44th FIAT/IFTA World Conference hosted by RTÉ, was due to be held from 26 to 29 October 2020, in Trinity College in Dublin, Ireland.

The health and safety of our attendees, membership, exhibitors, and staff being of utmost concern during the global COVID-19 pandemic, and following weeks of discussions with the host Austria Center Vienna, the Audio Engineering Society has officially cancelled the live, in-person components of the AES Vienna 2020 Convention scheduled for May.
