Second Seminar on Sound and Audiovisual Heritage 2019 organised by the Biblioteca de Catalunya, the Catalan National Archives and the Catalan National Filmoteca. It will be hosted by the three institutions at their sites
The symposium offers dedicated sessions focused on investigating coloniality, identity, memory and race.
While these themes are broadly explored in the context of sound and moving image collections across geographies, the symposium also emphasises the position of Dutch identity in its various manifestations.
The Inward Outward symposium is organised by the Royal Netherlands Institute of Southeast Asian and Caribbean Studies (KITLV) & the Netherlands Institute for Sound and Vision (Sound and Vision)
