The next BISA conference is due to take place in Norwich at the Norfolk
Record Office on 18-19 May 2012.

The event is likely to follow a similar structure to previous
conferences; the Friday will a series of presentations on all aspects of
sound archives. On the Saturday morning there is usually a tour of the
host institution and a training workshop on a specific aspect of sound
archives.

Full details will be published on the BISA e-mail discussion list. A
call for papers will be issued shortly.

The Conference - COBREMA - is an initiative of CIMJ - Centro Investigação Media e Jornalismo / Research Center for Media and Journalism and is organized in partnership with Media XXI - Consulting, Research and Publishing. It will be held in the center of the portuguese capital at Faculdade de Ciências Sociais e Humanas (Faculty of Social and Human Sciences) of the New University of Lisbon.
