Audio Engineering Society Latin American Conference

The Audio Engineering Society (AES) is pleased to announce the 2011 edition of the Audio Engineering Latin American Conference, to be held between August 30th and September 1st in Montevideo, Uruguay. The 2011 AES Latin American Congress of Audio Engineering is held next to the conference. Invited speakers from the region, Europe and the United States, will take part featuring tutorials and workshops on various topics of academic interest. There will be a call for papers inviting the scientific and technological community in the areas of audio, engineering, computing, music and sound, to submit original works of research, development and innovation.

In its 4 editions this conference brought together about 400 to 700 professionals, academics, students and enthusiasts of audio, sound and recording from such diverse countries as Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Chile, Ecuador, Mexico, Venezuela, Paraguay , Peru and Uruguay together with European and USA speakers thus forming the most important annual event in the world of audio in Latin America.

The event will be held at the exhibitions centre of the Technological Laboratory of Uruguay (LATU) and logistics is designed to accommodate an audience of 450 attendees.
