The 10th Eye International Conference, “The Colour Fantastic Revisited,” will take place from 25 to 28 May 2025 in Amsterdam. Hosted by Eye Filmmuseum with academic partners, the conference explores global histories, theories, aesthetics, and archival practices of film colour beyond the silent era. The program includes keynotes, panels, and an Open House at the Eye Collection Centre, with a pre-conference event (Meet the Archive) on 24 May, 2025.

The 2025 FIAT/IFTA World Conference, hosted by Cinecittà Luce, will be held in Rome, Italy, from October 28 to 31, 2025.

This prestigious gathering will bring together experts and professionals to explore the evolving landscape of media preservation, acquisition, and archiving, addressing the challenges and innovations shaping the future of audiovisual heritage.

Theme: A Loss of Pace: Preserving Climate Narratives, Cultural Identity, and Marginalized Voices through Audiovisual Media

The Association for Recorded Sound Collections annual Conference will be held May 14-17, 2024 in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the Hyatt Regency Tulsa Downtown.

The program will include individual presentations, posters, and panel discussions with sound recording scholars, collectors, preservationists, and creators engaged in a broad range of topics that cross geographic, cultural, and collection boundaries. There will also be a silent auction and social events offered each evening.
