2026 IAML Congress

The International Association of Music Libraries, Archives and Documentation Centres (IAML) will hold its 2026 Congress in Thessaloniki, Greece, from 28 June to 3 July 2026, marking both IAML’s 75th anniversary and the first time the congress is hosted in Greece. Bringing together music librarians, archivists, documentation specialists, researchers, and cultural heritage professionals from around the world, the congress will feature presentations, posters, workshops, and discussions on topics including digital resources, artificial intelligence, cataloguing, copyright, music information retrieval, digital humanities, and equity, diversity, and inclusion. Hosted at the Thessaloniki Concert Hall, the event will provide opportunities for international collaboration, professional exchange, and celebration of music heritage through a rich programme of academic sessions, cultural activities, and special anniversary events.
