As part of our sustainability plans for the Europeana Sounds project (http://www.europeanasounds.eu/), it was agreed that we would propose the creation of a Task Force of The International Association of Sound and Audiovisual Archives (IASA) which would continue promoting the aims and objectives of the project beyond the project’s lifetime.

IASA: Applications for Travel Awards 2015 – EXTENSION!
The IASA Travel Award applications have been extended and all IASA members in good standing are welcome to apply to attend the 46th Annual Conference which will be hosted at the Bibliothèque nationale de France in Paris, France from 27 September to 1 October 2015.

The 12th BAAC Annual Conference - Echoes of the Past, Insights to the Future - will be held this year from October 28 to 30 in Tallinn, Estonia, in the Baltic Film and Media School of Tallinn University - one of the largest film schools in Europe. The conference will be hosted by the National Archives of Estonia, Estonian Literary Museum, National Library of Estonia, Estonian Public Broadcasting and Art Museum of Estonia.
