We are pleased to announce that JTS 2026 (Joint Technical Symposium) will be held in person for the first time in six years, hosted by the National Film and Sound Archive of Australia in Canberra. From 3-4 March 2026, audiovisual preservation professionals, students, and researchers will gather at the Arc Cinema to share innovations, research, and practical experiences in the preservation and management of sound and moving image collections.

Fleeting Voices Vienna 2025 is an international conference dedicated to the critical examination of sound, memory, and storytelling in contemporary society. Convened in Vienna, Austria, the event will provide a platform for scholars, archivists, artists, and cultural practitioners to engage in dialogue on the preservation and accessibility of oral traditions and audiovisual heritage.

The Original Copies conference is an international event focusing on digital tools for preservation in cinema and the other arts. Scheduled to take place in Torino, Italy, on October 13–14, 2025, the conference aims to explore the intersections between film preservation and other disciplines such as fine arts restoration and textual criticism. It seeks to foster collaboration among scholars and practitioners to address the challenges posed by digital technology in preservation practices.

The XX Color Conference, organized by Gruppo del Colore – Associazione Italiana Colore, will be held on September 4–5, 2025, at the Università degli Studi di Napoli Parthenope in Naples, Italy. This international event brings together researchers, professionals, and educators to explore the interdisciplinary study of color and light. Topics will span color measurement, digital imaging, perception, design, cultural heritage, and a special focus on color and artificial intelligence.
