The IRMS conference theme is: "The Peaky Path to Progress: Innovate, Govern, and Sustain through Data, Information, and Records Management."

The conference focuses on tackling the challenges of records management, information governance, and data stewardship, emphasizing compliance, quality governance, and positive environmental and societal impact.

The conference will cover Artificial Intelligence (AI) applications and ethics; Microsoft 365, SharePoint, and G-Suite records management tools and governance; Sustainability and Environmental Impact in digital decarbonisation; Knowledge Management and Data Governance integration; and Professional Development and Practical Skills workshops on career growth and advocacy in records management.
