IASA Invites Nominations for The Dietrich Schüller Award for Audiovisual Training

This Award is named in recognition of Dr. Dietrich Schüller's significant contributions to developing audiovisual archiving standards and for his passionate advocacy for and participation in training in audiovisual archiving practises worldwide. This Award is intended to provide opportunities for professional development where it is most needed. Nominations for the Annual Carl Fleischhauer Award

The Carl Fleischhauer Award is given to individuals who embody the qualities of Fleischhauer's legacy by demonstrating a thoughtful and intentional commitment to advancing the dialogue of audiovisual preservation.
Nominations are welcomed from anyone, regardless of age, race, colour, gender identity, national origin, or religion. The Award consists of a five-year IASA membership to support the recipient's learning, engagement, and professional development.

2024 IASA Award of Recognition

Lynn Johnson – 2024 IASA Award of Recognition

At this year's conference's general assembly, the Executive Board of IASA announced the 2024 IASA Award of Recognition. This award was given to Lynn for her years of service to IASA as a member and former Secretary General and to audiovisual heritage work on the African continent. The Executive Board extends this award to Lynn as a gesture of gratitude and acknowledgment of her contributions over her career.
