Latvia's Legal Deposit law might be soon opened for reviewing as it lacks some definitions and provisions necessary for collecting digitally born materials, or those that are not available in physical form. One could also argue that the physical number of items required to be deposited is too great (3 copies of each sound/video/multimedia publication) and examine the need to deposit one to two physical copies in libraries other than the National Library.
