Multiple speeds and track formats in a single host item - How to catalogue?

Dear IASA friends,

I have a question related to a particular application of the IASA cataloguing rules, I hope this is the right place to ask such a question. Please do nag me otherwise!

I am preparing the catalogue of a special collection that combines tape recordings at different speeds and track formats in one single physical item. The question is, how to deal with the physical description...

For instance, elaborating on the example provided in section § 5.6.C:

1 reel : 19 cm/sec, 1 track, mono, 2 track, stereo ; 17 cm ...?

It becomes messier if various speeds are involved:

1 reel : 9,5 cm/sec, 19 cm/sec, 1 track, mono, 2 track, stereo ; 17 cm ...?
1 reel : 9,5 cm/sec, 19 cm/sec, 38 cm/sec, 1 track, mono, 2 track, stereo ; 17 cm ...?

Is there any alternative punctuation foreseen for such cases? I know I could provide detailed information in a Note, but I would prefer to avoid going that way if possible. (Multiple speeds and track formats on a single host item are very frequent in this collection.)

I would much appreciate anyone sharing their solutions when dealing with similar cases. Looking forward to your insightful comments and ideas!

Many thanks and cheers

Gregorio
