Urgent Notice: Scam Email Alert
The IASA Board once again wishes to bring to your attention a matter of utmost importance. We have noticed that some members have recently encountered scam emails. These fraudulent emails typically involve a request for the recipient to undertake a financial transaction on behalf of a board member.
To promptly identify these scams, we strongly advise you to meticulously inspect the sender's domain name. The official and legitimate domain for all IASA communications is username@iasa-web.org. Any variance from this domain should be treated with suspicion. Additionally, directly verifying with the purported sender is another effective measure to counter this issue.
In response to these incidents, exercise heightened caution and refrain from participating in any financial transactions prompted by emails not originating from the official IASA domain. Your vigilance is paramount in safeguarding the security and trust within our community.
If you receive any emails that raise suspicion or seek clarification, please do not hesitate to contact the IASA Board promptly.
