The Digital Archivist will be a member of a team and will be responsible for the planning and implementation of a digital asset management system for the archival collections of electronic and digital media. You will also manage the cataloging of content in the department’s digital collections. Content includes video, audio, graphics, and still image files.

Stanford University Libraries (SUL) is seeking a Project Sound Recording Cataloger to work with a large collection of piano rolls held by the Archive of Recorded Sound. The goal is to provide metadata for individual physical rolls and their eventual digital surrogates. The position is based in the Archive of Recorded Sound/Music Library and reports to the Sound Archives Librarian. This is a 12-month position with the possibility of extension dependent upon funding.

The National Film and Sound Archive of Australia’s (NFSA) Sound & Broadcast team requires a Curatorial Officer to acquire radio programs and contribute to the interpretation and presentation of key elements of the radio collection, in accordance with curatorial policy and practices. The role requires someone with initiative, curatorial and/or relevant industry knowledge, and communication and research skills.
