Disability Consciousness & Audiovisual Archival Access

The COVID-19 crisis has further heightened the need, understanding and collective awareness of online remote access to collections for all people—including those with disabilities. This webinar was programmed in response to requests for additional training during last year’s “Visible and Invisible Disabilities” Focus Group hosted by AMIA and the NFPB. In an effort to raise collective awareness around these issues, AMIA is delighted to have Drs. Raphael Raphael and Tom Conway (of the University of Hawai’i Center on Disability Studies) share their expertise and experience.
