Famous

Annotation:

"One of the many record labels made for J. Blum & Co of 220 Old Street, London, Famous records were initally pressed in Germany (Saxony), later, with WWI intervening, pressed by The Disc Record Co of Harrow. The label was only in existence from about 1912 to 1914 and is not easily found. Later issued apparently had purple labels. The matrix numbers, in a 1000-series usually had a 7 or 8 prefixed on the label." Additional credits: Graham Meachen, Mike Atkins, Mike Langridge, Ian McPherson. Page belongs to Michael Thomas.
