IASA-TC 04 in French!

We are pleased to announce that, with support from Memnon and translation services from Jean-Marc Fontaine (and Xavier Loyant), IASA has completed the design and publication of a French translation of IASA-TC 04.

I am happy to announce the online release of IASA Journal, Issue 45. The paper copy is in the mail and should arrive at your doorsteps in the upcoming week. In the meantime, you can browse (with your website login) the pages of the Journal in electronic form on the IASA website here:

Thanks largely to the efforts of IASA member, George Boston (and Richard Ranft), IASA is happy to announce that electronic copies of all issues of IASA Journal and IASA Phonographic Bulletin are now available on the IASA website here:

For IASA members, all issues are available upon login to the IASA website. For non-members, issues older than five years are available for free download as PDFs.

new ARSC Guide to Audio Preservation

The new ARSC Guide to Audio Preservation, edited by Sam Brylawski, Maya Lerman, Robin Pike, Kathlin Smith was released recently.

Commissioned for and sponsored by the National Recording Preservation Board of the Library of Congress, and co-published by the Association for Recorded Sound Collections, the Council on Library and Information Resources, and The Library of Congress.
