BISA is delighted to announce that the 2017 BISA annual meeting will be held at Edinburgh on 17-18 th November. The programme will include the variety of presentations, papers and practical training and workshop events BISA members and regulars will know.

British and Irish Sound Archives are pleased to announce that its annual event will take place on Friday, 18 November and Saturday, 19 November 2016 at the Ulster Folk and Transport Museum at Cultra, Northern Ireland.  Further details, including a call for papers will follow shortly.

Audiovisual Heritage and People: Connecting, Curating, Sharing

BAAC Annual Conference 2016

BISA is excited to confirm that this year's Conference will be held in London on 5th-6th June 2015, hosted by BBC Archives at the home of the BBC, Broadcasting House so keep the dates free. The venue will be the imposing Council Chamber in Broadcasting House, one of the few interior parts of the building that retains its 1930s decor. Archival sound recordings and their care and management will be centre stage, with some BBC flavours and we are looking for your presentations and contributions to build a broad programme.
