The Outreach Committee of the Association for Recorded Sound Collections (ARSC) posts the following message.

The ARSC Research Grants Program supports scholarship and publication in the fields of sound recording research and audio preservation. (This program is separate from the ARSC Preservation Grants Program, which encourages and supports the preservation of historically significant sound recordings of
Western Art Music.) Project categories eligible for consideration include:

The ARSC Program for the Preservation of Classical Music Historical Recordings was founded by Al Schlachtmeyer and the ARSC Board of Directors to encourage and support the preservation of historically significant sound recordings of Western Art Music by individuals and organizations. (This program is separate from the ARSC Research Grants Program, which supports

IASA 2011 - Frankfurt: proposals deadline extended until 28 Feb

IASA is extending the deadline for proposals to the annual conference in Frankfurt, 3-8 september!

Call for IASA Research Grant applications

Applications for research grants are invited. All IASA members can apply. The level of financial support will be determined by the Executive Board individually on a case by case basis, but individual awards will not normally exceed Euro2000.
