The Archives at the Danish Broadcasting Corporation (DR) are pleased to welcome you to a two day seminar/meeting on the status, possibilities and importance of the Nordic audio-visual archives.
The meeting is held within the IASA Nordic Branch framework and priorities will be given to IASA members. However, the meeting is open to all Nordic audio-visual archives.

2015 Oral History Association Annual Meeting

International Archives Day

At the International Council on Archives (ICA) international Congress in Vienna in 2004, the 2000 participants adopted a resolution requesting the United Nations to create an International Archives Day. Some countries had already decided to have a national archives day, to raise awareness of the general public and the decision-makers about the importance of archives.
