3. Soportes, su composición y su estabilidad física y química

Esta sección contiene, entre otros, bibliografía “clásica”: artículos generales básicos y documentos en los que se han presentado y discutido los principales problemas de preservación de su tiempo. Debe tenerse en cuenta que los materiales utilizados para la fabricación de soportes de audio y de video y su composición específica varían mucho, al igual que los procedimientos de producción, que influyen en la estabilidad de los propios soportes. Los resultados de estos documentos se refieren a los soportes específicos bajo revisión y, con estas limitantes, los resultados y las conclusiones pueden ser válidos. Sin embargo, las generalizaciones pueden ser engañosas y por lo tanto deben considerarse de manera crítica. Véanse también 2.2.1.1.2 - 2.2.1.1.3.
