IASA, together with the Association of Moving Image Archivists (AMIA) and the Southeast Asia-Pacific Audiovisual Archive Association (SEAPAVAA), have joined forces to promote, publicize, and administer the James A. Lindner Prize.

The James A. Lindner Prize is intended to recognize and reward outstanding contributions to research in the field of the technology of preservation of moving images and recorded sound.
